Better late than never. I have been meaning to blog about our adoption for oh about a year and look I am finally doing it! We started the process of adopting a little girl from Ethiopia in Oct. of 2008 and are finally getting close to having her home. Our court date is on Fri. the 15th in Ethiopia, they are 8 hours ahead of us so while we are sleeping (hopefully sleeping) they will decide if K (I can't post her name yet) will officially become a Best! So as long as the internet is up and running in Ethiopia I should have an answer Fri. morning. There is about a 50% chance of passing court the 1st time, so there are alot of things that have to all be in line and K's birth mother has to show up at court also. If we don't pass they can either keep the case open until they have everything they need or they can close it and we would have to wait for a new court date. But I am not thinking about that because I am ready to get on a plane and go to Ethiopia!
I will post pictures as soon as I am able, not really sure if I can post after we pass court or if I have to wait until we have her in our arms.
Ok so now so that my mom will stop bugging me for pictures... oops the pictures are on top!
